I've been periodically coming up to Peterborough to visit my Girlfriend, and this is probably my favorite spot to eat.
The staff is super nice, the prices are super reasonable, and the food is really great. All of the individual ingredients taste really fresh and high quality.
Their menu is weirdly eclectic and the drink selection is similarly expansive.
I love the ambience and the porch is such a nice spot to eat and take in the summer! -

Harlow's caters to a specific clientele. The laid back, Patchouli, free range children raising, one light beer bottle of water, Subaru driving individual. Nothing like trying to enjoy your drink and meal while unattended children run up and down from the stage to play while disturbing paying clients. Only to be ignored by their parents because they didn't want to pay for a babysitter.
The food is decent but you have ppl there holding seats nursing a beer and not ordering. The only reason I am giving this place a 3 star is because of the crowd. If this is your atmosphere, enjoy. But I'm not coming here again. -

Came here for lunch and the reviews do it justice! Accommodating staff and delicious food. There is limited seating outside but an upstairs and downstairs inside. Beware that if you don't like stool seating, a good portion of the inside is. Not a problem as they have other options but if it's crowded it may be the only option.
Food tasted homemade and fresh. Would stop by again if I have the chance! -

Cute cute cute
Clearly a town staple
I think the lunch menu is smaller? Nachos were decent (and the personal size was plenty for one--unfinishable.)
And service was so friendly! 20%+ friendly.
I recommend: what's on tap or a ginger brew
Extra tip: Live music some nights -

Leaf peeping trip with the fam landed us here for lunch on a Saturday. We were a group of 11 so explored the town while we waited for a table to be ready. The host initially laughed in our face when we asked how long for a table of 11... kinda odd - ya, we get it, it's a lot of people...But so how long? An hour and a half. Ok no problem. As others have described, this place has a certain hippy-esque vibe. Seemed like a good idea to patron where the locals go! Unfortunately we just had a really bad experience. Everything took foreverrrrr. Our server was nice so I don't typically like to bash for long waits when they're just busy (out of their own control) yet nice, but it did come off like carelessness - having to ask multiple times for things, orders not exactly right, etc. so it was frustrating. There was no updates on the why it was taking so long or an apology, until the end when the check was dropped off. 30-40 minutes for everything. It really just put my family who had all come together for this day trip into a funk. But I know it really comes down to the food and that was fine. Burgers ok - liked the bun. When we first walked in, it just felt bustling, cozy, and fun. But once we sat down and soaked it all in, it kinda felt just dirty and smelly. I guess It is a pub. Maybe ok to go get a beer and listen to a band or something.
